今日は元津山洋学資料館館長の下山純正氏を講師に招き文化講演会を行いました。洋学の概念、歴史、そしてその洋学が現在の日本に与えた影響についてなど、大変興味深いお話しをしていただきました。Summer lecture presentation was held at Shizutani today. We invited Mr. Shimoyama Yoshimasa, former director of Tsuyama ‘western studies’ museum, as a lecturer. We had various interesting presentation such as definition/history of ‘western studies’ and firmly believed that Tsuyama is one of academic roots in Japan.
